About me

My story

I am a clinical psychologist and a full member of the Portuguese Order of Psychologists (Ordem dos Psicólogos Portugueses). I support people at different stages of life, with a particular interest in relationships, self-esteem, anxiety and crisis situations.

I work mainly with a cognitive-behavioural approach, helping people understand patterns of thinking and behaviour and develop strategies to deal with emotions and everyday challenges.

I also support people going through separation, divorce and change, including moving to a new country. I have a particular interest in women's mental health, including the emotional challenges of menopause, and experience in projects supporting women and immigrants in vulnerable situations.

I also provide individual clinical supervision for psychologists and mentoring for the Junior Professional Year (APJ), supporting professional growth and autonomy.

Professional practice

For psychologists

Professional development is an ongoing process, made of learning, doubts and challenges. Clinical supervision, peer intervision and APJ mentoring are different ways of supporting psychologists along their path, encouraging reflection, shared experience and skill development.

Clinical supervision

One-to-one

Clinical supervision is a space for reflection and professional development for psychologists who want to deepen their clinical reasoning, discuss cases and explore intervention strategies. Grounded in the cognitive-behavioural approach, it allows you to reflect on the needs of your cases and the challenges that arise in clinical practice.

Clinical intervision

Group

A group space for sharing and reflection, for psychologists who want to discuss clinical cases, clarify questions and exchange experiences with colleagues. I moderate the sessions, encouraging participation and joint reflection. At the end of each session, a summary of the main points discussed is written up.

APJ

The start of a career can bring doubts and challenges, both in clinical practice and in adapting to professional responsibilities. APJ mentoring supports psychologists at this stage, helping to answer questions, understand each phase of the process and build greater confidence and autonomy in the profession.
